The new designated smoking areas throughout campus are a great idea, and have cut back on the sickening smell of cigarettes on campus. My only concern is that it is not regulated; I mean what can we as a student body community do if a smoker decides not to smoke in a designated area? I still see students walking around school with a cigarette in hand, and I feel like there really isn't anything that the average health conscience student can do about it.

As news has become almost instantaneously available with the business of journalism being vaulted into an age of digitalization, the thefts of people's work, albeit literary or graphically, have become increasingly easy and inevitable.
It may seem petty that The San Matean reminds its readers of the theft Skyline College's student run publication, The Skyline View, committed in April 2007.

Our campus is slowly taking steps up the evolutionary ladder to reach its full potential for educational development and architectural advancement.
By implementing the construction plans, we will no longer have to deal with classes and offices inhabiting decrepit catacomb-like buildings.
