For the third straight year the Bulldogs were ousted out of the first round of the playoffs, this time by the Consumnus River Hawks, after winning the first game of a three game set.
"It just tells you how difficult the playoffs are," said Head Coach Doug Williams.

The men's swim team placed third overall in the annual Coast Conference finals last month at Chabot College, matching their highest team finish ever.
The finals were held over three days at in Hayward, on April 24, 25 and 26.
"Third place is our best finish for the men's team," said Coach Randy Wright.

Kelly Young has a gift: She can throw things far. Really far.
At the state track meet two weeks ago in Modesto, freshman track and field athlete Young, 19, was voted the Female Field Event Athlete of the Year by track coaches from all over Northern California.
