Instructional aid John Saenz currently works at both the Speech Lab and Foreign Language Department here on CSM's campus. Saenz helps students with anything from computer-based questions to advice on outlining and speech-writing, and emphasizes better utilization of the well-equipped lab. His advice doesn't stop there, though, as he's enthusiastic about counseling students with any questions regarding their own chosen paths or fields of study.
†
Saenz was born in Buena Park, a city straddling the border of Orange County and Los Angeles in Southern California, and is the second youngest of eight siblings. He's obtained his M.A and M.F.A from New College, located in San Francisco's mission district, and currently resides in the city's Sunset district. He's married to Naomi Qui"onez, a published poet and professor at San Francisco State University, and is in the process of writing a fictional novel.

JS: Two years ago, I got accepted to grad school at New College of California in San Francisco, where I was part of the creative writing program specializing in fiction.
