• Fun with Flowers and J through the Seasons
Monday, Oct. 22, 7 p.m., CSM Bldg 5. Staff Dining
room. This event, featuring J. Schwanke, is sponsored
by CSM's Chapter of the American Institute of Floral
Designers. J. Schwanke, flower expert, and host
of online flower show "JTV," will be teaching a
flower workshop which will teach how to make fun
seasonal flower arrangements. Open to public; $20

• Oktoberfest
Monday, Oct. 22 - Thurs., Oct. 25, 10 - 2 p.m., Upper
Pond, near Library. Monday, Oct. 22 - Food eating
contests. Tuesday, Oct. 23 - Sports contest. Wednesday,
Oct. 24 - Car Show. Thursday, Oct. 25 - Music trivia
contest. Live entertainment and food will be available at
all Oktoberfest activities. Bring your student ID card for

• Engineering Major Day

California, California State University, and private

• Autumn Job Fair at CSM
Wednesday, Oct. 24 10 - 2 p.m., CSM bldg. 5, South
Cafeteria. This event is sponsored by CSM's Career
Development Center. Hundreds of Peninsula-wide
employers will be looking for applicants with a wide
variety of skills. Free and open to public. For more

• "Right to Risk-A 15 Day Journey through Arizona's
Grand Canyon"
Thursday, Oct. 25, 1 to 3 p.m., CSM Theater. A Film
Viewing and special event during Disability Awareness
Month. This event is sponsored by Disabled Students
